This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions and one-time purchases on the Platform. By making a payment you confirm that you have read and accepted this Policy.
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase or of an automatic renewal, provided that you have not consumed more than 20% of the lessons or tasks of any course included in your Plan during the period in question. This is consistent with EU consumer protection law.
Send a written request to billing@remotebackend.com with: account email, order ID or invoice number, and a brief reason for the request. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 days of approval. The actual time the funds appear on your card or account depends on your bank or payment provider.
For yearly Plans cancelled after the cooling-off period, no pro-rata refund is provided by default. We may, at our sole discretion, grant a partial refund in exceptional circumstances (e.g., long Platform outage attributable to us).
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery costs.
We may update this Refund Policy. The version applicable to your purchase is the one in effect at the time of payment.
